Child Center of Pennsylvania honors Brian Houchins Community Recognition Award

Brian Houchins , a devoted elementary college instructor and group volunteer, has been an unwavering advocate for children's schooling and welfare. Over the past ten years, his efforts have considerably impacted the lives of numerous children in Mechanicsburg and surrounding areas. Houchins' initiatives embrace establishing a free after-school tutoring program for underprivileged students, weekend workshops focusing on literacy and numeracy abilities for at-risk youth, and main a profitable community-driven marketing campaign to improve native playgrounds, making certain secure and inclusive play areas for all youngsters.
